Training and support
Our corporate objective is “To help people develop” and this is significant in our training program. Education and training at every level have been Furniture Medic hallmarks. Prior to your arrival at our Training Academy you will be required to complete a 50 hour home study course so all of our franchisees enter at the same level. At our Academy you will undergo an intensive, two-week, hands-on curriculum that develops target skill sets and helps integrate you into the services you will provide. Attention is also focused on actual business startup, marketing, customer acquisition and retention.
You may choose to participate in our Mentoring Program after finishing your time at the Training Academy. This will pair you with an experienced franchisee in the same general area and press new skill sets into use while developing finesse in customer acquisition. Additionally, there are opportunities to enhance skills through Regional Meetings as well as our Annual Convention. Here, new products and processes are showcased and exhibited. These gatherings provide owners with the opportunity to network, solve common problems and master new skills and techniques.
